501(c)(3) Affirmation Letter

Dear Prospective Sponsor,

We would very much appreciate your sponsoring the Marbury High School Northstar Marching Band this school year. The generous contributions of last year’s corporate sponsors enabled our students to participate in many enrichment activities such as festivals, marching contests, performance assessments, halftime shows, and more.

Without the generous support of our corporate sponsors, the band programs at Marbury High School would be seriously deficient. The band programs receive most of their funds from the efforts of the Boosters, and the Boosters receive much of their funds from corporate sponsors. Due to the rapidly growing size of the marching band, the band needs additional uniforms. Additionally, many of the school-owned instruments are in desperate need of repair or replacement.

Therefore, we kindly ask that you consider supporting the Marbury band programs through a sponsorship of the Marbury High School Northstar Marching Band. We have various sponsorship levels that ensure your business is recognized as a sponsor of the band. I have enclosed a sponsorship sheet with this letter, which includes instructions on how to sponsor the band.
