501(c)(3) Affirmation Letter

Dear Prospective Sponsor,

We would very much appreciate your sponsoring the Marbury High School Northstar Marching Band this school year.  The generous contributions of last year’s corporate sponsors enabled our students to participate in many enrichment activities such as festivals, marching contests, performance assessments, halftime shows, and more.  We were also able to purchase a new band trailer to transport our students’ instruments to athletic events, concert performances, and more.

Our bands’ needs are numerous and are primarily met by the support of our local businesses.  While we have been able to secure more instruments for the band, the band programs are in need of more instruments to ensure more students can participate in this enriching extracurricular activity.  Additionally, many of the current school instruments are in desperate need of repair or replacement.

Therefore, we kindly ask that you consider supporting the Marbury band programs through a sponsorship of the Marbury High School Northstar Marching Band.*  We have various sponsorship levels that ensure your business is recognized as a sponsor of the band.  I have enclosed a sponsorship sheet with this letter, which includes instructions on how to sponsor the band.
